I don't see the numbers 6 or 666 as primarily evil. On the contrary, God created the world in 6 days and said it was "very good". He also created man in his image on the sixth day. And he designed the cosmos (kosmos = 600) on the number 6 with the the six directions (up/down, e,w,n,s) forming a coordinate system of three axes that form the initials of Jesus Christ. In other words, He stamped His creation with his Monogram!

Going into the part about number 6 and the cosmos here is really not necessary regarding the symbolism used here as this case is pretty strong.

Now let's go back to the good vs evil symbology or more specifially the concept of evil surrounding good.
