καὶ ἤγαγον αὐτὸν πρὸς Ἅνναν πρῶτον· ἦν γὰρ πενθερὸς τοῦ Καϊάφα ὃς ἦν ἀρχιερεὺς τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἐκείνου.

And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.
