וַיָּסִ֜ירוּ אֶת־ אֱלֹהֵ֤י הַנֵּכָר֙ מִקִּרְבָּ֔ם וַיַּעַבְד֖וּ אֶת־ יְהוָ֑ה וַתִּקְצַ֥ר נַפְשׁ֖וֹ בַּעֲמַ֥ל יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פ

And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
