וַיִּקְרָ֤א מֶֽלֶךְ־ מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ לַֽמְיַלְּדֹ֔ת וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָהֶ֔ן מַדּ֥וּעַ עֲשִׂיתֶ֖ן הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה וַתְּחַיֶּ֖יןָ אֶת־ הַיְלָדִֽים׃

And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?
