ταῦτα δὲ τύποι ἡμῶν ἐγενήθησαν εἰς τὸ μὴ εἶναι ἡμᾶς ἐπιθυμητὰς κακῶν καθὼς κἀκεῖνοι ἐπεθύμησαν.

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
