The Divine ChariotAlso out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And
this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
Ezekiel 1:10 (Spoke 4, Cycle 2)
Ezekiel's celebrated vision concerning the Divine Chariot, God's Throne, the Four Living Creatures
and the Wheels within Wheels
offers many insights to the structure of God's Word. As with much of Scripture,
it is has been the subject of unbridled speculation -
from the relatively serious and pious Jewish mystical Merkavah meditations to
those who assert it proves that the Bible was given by aliens in UFOs. In contrast, I seek to avoid
speculation by concentrating on those things God has clearly revealed in His Word.
As one might suspect, Ezekiel's vision offers a host of magnificent
insights into the Wheel and the Wheels within the Wheel of God's everlasting Word.
The opening chapter of Ezekiel on Spoke Four contains the greatest density of the
Number Four to be found in
Scripture. This reveals the perfect union of the content of Scripture with its
geometric structure in
the form of the Wheel. This sets the stage for the great revelation.
It is also extremely significant that
God repeatedly uses the Dalet KeyWord (Damuth, Likeness) in the Book
of Ezekiel. This word (S# H1823)
appears 25 times in the Bible, 16 of which (64%) are found in Ezekiel. Here is a graph of
the distribution:

Damut first appears in verse 26 of Genesis 1 (recall Ezekiel = Book 26):
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let
them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over
the fowl of the air, and over
the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Here we are witnessing the integration of the sequence of verses in Genesis 1 with the order of the
Canon! The depth
of divine wisdom is staggering, especially in light of the content of Genesis 1.26 which integrates
with the image of God in the form of a Man on the Throne above the Chariot (see below).
Wheels within wheels within wheels! I have already documented a
huge number of correlations between the chapter sequence of Genesis with the order of
the Cannon (cf. Inner Cycles of Genesis),
and have shown how the first 9 chapters of Genesis 1 integate with the first 9 verses of
Isaiah 1. A similiar structure is seen in the
verse sequences of both Matthew and John where prophecies from Isaiah (Book 23) first appear
in the 23rd verses. Wheels within wheels!
The primary consonants of (Damuth, Likeness) consist of
the three letters whose values
reduce to 4 (the Vav functions as a vowel "u"). This is part of the extremely deep
and mysterious relation between the Number 4 and the idea of Formation. It relates strongly to
ideas of birth (cf. Genesis 4) as the Matrix/Door
into the Cosmos and the imposition
of structure. It also manifests in the root (Madad, Measure) which
is another word characteristic of Ezekiel, made from the consonants Dalet and Mem (cf.
The Foursquare Temple). Meditation upon the
the Greek word Morphe (a phonetic permutation of Form which means Form) and the many connections between
STR and FR roots such as STRucture/FoRm,
STRength/FoRtitude, etc. should be fruitful. This seems to be
a manifestation of the Tsaddi - Resh root of YeTSiRah (FoRmation, cf. S# H3336). These
ideas are derived from the text of Isaiah 26 as discussed in
Perfect Peace.
The Four Letter Name of God - the Tetragrammaton - plays an unusually significant role in the Book of
Ezekiel, which is characterized by the phrase "know that I am YHVH." Using the numerical value of the
Name, this phrase translates as "know that I am 26" thereby integrating the entire book of Ezekiel with
it position in the Canon! Furthermore, the whole concept of Knowledge is a Dalet KeyConcept based on the
Dalet KeyWord (Daat). This manifests with perfect clarity in the
opening verse of Genesis 4:
And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and
said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
Truly, Genesis
is the origin of all! Its Inner Cycles continuously and repeatedly integrate with the great
themes on each Spoke of the Bible Wheel.
The Heavens are opened
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth
day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were
opened, and I saw visions of God. In the fifth day of the month, which was the
fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,
The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land
of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him. [Ezekiel 1.1-3]
The root translated as opened is (Petach), a synonym of
Dalet which first appears in
Genesis 4 translated as Door. The content of
Ezekiel is reproduced with
overwhelming clarity and numerous KeyLinks in Revelation 4
which begins with a door opening in
heaven and a vision of God's Throne, surrounded by a rainbow and Four Living Creatures. The divine
design is as obvious as it is astounding! We have a full integration of the meaning of Dalet, the
numerical value of Dalet, the numberical theme of the text and the geormetric structure
of both the Bible Wheel
and the Inner Wheel of Revelation! And why would God design it with such clarity here on Spoke 4? What is
the topic? The (Galah, Revelation) of the
(Galgal, Wheel = 66), the
Wheels within Wheels, full of eyes round about! Glory! (Cf.
Golgotha - The Axis of the Wheel).
The text says that "The word of the Lord came expressely" unto Ezekiel the priest. This meaning is conveyed
by simply doubling the verb Hayah to form the phrase "Hayah hayah davar YHVH." This links directly to the
the central numerical theme of Ezekiel, which manifests both in the first chapter and again in the final chapters
in the description of the New Temple, We have the identity:
| The Word of the Lord came expressly
Hayah Hayah Davar YHVH |
|
= 272 = |
| Foursquare
Rava |
|
The phrase Hayah Hayah Davar YHVH appears only in Ezekiel 1.3. It integrates perfectly with the uniquely
foursquare character his book. The Number 272 also coincides with the value of HaMerkavah (The Chariot)
used in I Chronicles 28.18 to describe the Ark of God:
And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern
of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered
the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
We have the identity:
| The Chariot
HaMerkavah |
= 272 |
And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and
a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst
thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And
this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole
of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.
And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides;
and they four had their faces and their wings.
Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went;
they went every one straight forward.
As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of
a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and
they four had
the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an
eagle.
Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of
every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies. [Ezekiel 1.4-11]
These Four Living Creatures have been associated with the Four Evangelists since the days of the
early church. Unfortunately, the tradition varies greatly and there are no inddisputable Scriptural
associations. They appear twice in Scripture - forming the the following KeyLink between Ezekiel and
Spoke 4 of the Inner Wheel of Revelation (cf. [Inner Wheels] >
Revelation 4 ):
 | KeyLink: Four Living Creatures before God's Throne | Ezekiel Revelation 4 |
And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go,
they went; and they turned not when they went.
As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was
like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went
up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out
of the fire went forth lightning.
And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living
creatures, with his four faces.
The appearance of the wheels and their
work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and
their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.
[Ezekiel 1.12-18]
The word used here to describe the Wheels is (Auphanim). In Ezekiel
10, the same wheels are described by the singular term Galgal. The Ordinal Value of Auphanim
coincides with the Standard Value of Galgal and the Number of Books in the Wheel:
| Auphanim (Ordinal)
|
|
= 66 = |
| Wheel (Galgal)
|
|
These words are further discussed in Golgotha - The Axis of the Wheel.
18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were
full of eyes round about them four.
The rings are the rims of the Wheels. The word translated as Eyes (Ayinim) is the same word used in
Zechariah 3.9 (Spoke 16 - Ayin) where God declared:
For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven
eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove
the iniquity of that land in one day.
I believe there are a few harmonious converging interpretations of what these eyes represent. In the
spiritual sense, they are the "eyes of the Lord" and represent God's omniscience (complete (= 7) knowledge)
and the powers of
the Divine Messiah. But the same prophecy also fits with the sevenfold symmetric perfection of the
Canon Wheel.
In this sense, the seven eyes seem to represent
the seven canonical divisions - or facets - of the Bible.
The Spirit of the Creatures in the Wheels
19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living
creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to
go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living
creature was in the wheels. 21 When those went, these went; and when those stood,
these stood; and when those were
lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit
of the living creatures was in the wheels.
22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as
the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every
one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on
that side, their bodies.
24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters,
as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host:
when they stood, they let down their wings.
25 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood,
and had let down their wings.
26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a
throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the
throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
27 And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it,
from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins
even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round
about.
28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the
appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of
the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a
voice of one that spake.
The appearance of the likeness of a MAN on the throne of God should open many doors into the evangelization
of the Jews. It deeply integrates with an ancient tradition that relates Genesis 1.26 to the
form of the Name of God - the Tetragrammaton, - written vertically.

And who is this MAN sitting
on the Throne of God? What is His Name? The answer is as simple and obvious as it
is glorious! We have the identity:
| the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD
Mirah damuth Kavod YHVH |
= 754 |
This coincides exactly with the Hebrew Name of Jesus Christ:
| JESUS CHRIST
Yehoshua HaMeshiach |
= 754 |
This then integrates with the primary theme of Ezekiel which is based on the great Name of God -
Yod He Vav He - The Tetragrammaton. In Ezekiel 39.7 we read:
So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel;
and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that
I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
Note the comination of primary Spoke 4 themes of Knowing and God's Name. We have the identity:
| My Holy Name
Shem Qadshi |
= 754 |
Yet there is more. In Revelation 12.10 we read:
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and
strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of
our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him
by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the
death.
The word translated as Power is Exusia, which more generally means Authority. Thus we see the fundamental
teaching of all Scripture, that all Authority is in the Name of Jesus Christ , taught here in the
intrinsic imutable united alphanueric structure of the Greek and Hebrew languages and all of this is
intergrated with the geometric structure of the Holy Bible! Oh! Oh! Fall on your knees!
We have the identity:
| The Authority
Hey Exusia |
= 754 |
Indeed, Jesus Christ has been given all power and authority and the Name aboave all names! Glory!
Yet there is still
more. This is all coming out of Book 26 which integrates with the Divine Name of God,
(YHVH) = 26. It is therefore with great
wonder but little surprise that we behold the prime factorization of the Number 754:
754 = 13 (One/Love) x 58 (Grace) = 26 (YHVH) x 29
The Number uniting these great and mighty themes based on God's Name is itself a multiple of God's Name!
The rearragement of the factors links it to the Unity Holograph and the
fundamental nature of God as
Love and Grace. The only piece missing for a full understanding at this point is the root concept of
the Number 29. I have some intuition about this number (cf. Psalm 29) but I haven't anything definite
yet. Any insights from the reader would be greatly appreciated.
