Spoke 1
John 1 Genesis
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of
the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that
it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the
light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the
morning were the first day.
Bible Wheel: Spoke 1, Cycle 1 (Genesis 1.1-5)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him;
and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life
was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Inner Cycle: Spoke 1, Cycle 1 (John 1.1-5)
In the beginning
The integration of the Inner Cycle of chapters in John with the order of the Christian Canon is
extremely strong. The content of John 1 cohere's perfectly with that of Genesis. Both speak of God,
Creation and Light. Just as Matthew 1 actually uses the Greek name of Genesis, so John and Genesis open
with exactly the same phrase "In the beginning."
The correlation above is an example of Thread 2 - Inner Wheels
and Cycles linked to the order of the Canon. But there is a much deeper correlation going on here that
links to Thread 3 - Biblical Holographs. The ten verses quoted above - five from Genesis and
five from John - form the
Creation Hyperholograph, which is one of the most
significant discoveries from Thread 3. It is the grandest holographic structure I have yet to discover in
the the Bible - placed here in the absolute core of the creation passages. Glory to God Almighty!
Born of God
He was in the world, and the world was made by
him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received
him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the
sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood,
nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. [John 1.10f]
The creation theme in John 1 is extremely strong. The word "genesis" means origin, beginning, or birth.
It is cognoate with the verb gennao (S# G1080) translated as "were born" in the verse
above.
Wheels within Wheels
He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way
of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. [John 1.23]
As the details of the Wheel are filled in, more and more links from deep levels begin to appear.
This quote from Isaiah is John's first explicit quote of an Old Testament prophet.
