the one who has understanding
it seems that only the one who has understanding might be able to calculate the number of the beast
Revelation 13:18,

Re: the one who has understanding
Hi Geert.
In the NIV Rev. 13.18 is given as follows.
This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666.
I have found several numbers in there related to the beast. Note that numbers are enumerated under the ordinal value system and take on meaning under the standard value system, the decryption method taught me by the Key I received, similar to public key encryption. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public-key_cryptography
Here are three of them.
Rev. 13.18 (o) = 1151
Beelxebub (s) = 1151
‘Let him calculate the number of the beast’ (o) = 352
Satan (s) = 352.
‘For it is man’s number’ (o) = 216 = 6 x 6 x 6.

Re: the one who has understanding
NIV offers a stupid translation
"this calls for wisdom"
where the original text has: Ὧδε ἡ σοφία ἐστίν
ὧδε - in this same spot, i.e. here or hither
https://biblehub.com/greek/5602.htm
ἐστίν from εἶναι (εἰμί)= to be, to exist
https://biblehub.com/greek/1510.htm
σοφία = Hebrew חׇכְמָ֣ה (with the notorious gematria 73 and reduced value 37)
Psalms 104:24, How many are the things You have made, O LORD;
You have made them all with wisdom;
the earth is full of Your creations.
https://www.sefaria.org/Psalms.104.24?v ... ra&lang=bi
You cannot rely on NIV (and also not on English gematria)

Yes you can rely on both. I’ve shown it over and again.Geert van den Bos wrote: Mon Oct 20, 2025 6:34 am NIV offers a stupid translation

What exactly is ‘stupid’ about the NIV translation? And please give the interpretation of the Greek Rev. 13.18 you think is acceptable.

LXX Genesis 22:5 also has ὧδε
a very special spot!
Hebrew had "koh" -- I and the young man we will go "ad-koh"
https://www.sefaria.org/Genesis.22.5?ve ... i&aliyot=0
The same "koh" was used in the promise made to Abram in Genesi 15:4, "koh yiyeh zarecha" -- ="koh"will be your seed
https://www.sefaria.org/Genesis.15.5?ve ... i&aliyot=0
After Abram had been asked to count the stars --( to compute their number )
"koh" gematria 25, said to be the number of the hidden light, since first "or" in Genesis 1:3 is 25th word from the beginning, and the beforegoing "yehi" has gematria 25.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but you speak in riddles. Please just explain what you mean. I go out of my way to be clear, as do most here, but you do not, if you have something important to say it would be a shame if it was missed.

Re: the one who has understanding
I see more translations have "this calls for wisdom"
https://biblehub.com/revelation/13-18.htm
they are stupid too
they do lack understanding, not being able to calculate the number of the beast
calculate Greek ψηφίζω = to use pebbles in enumeration (like Vernon Jenkins did)
https://biblehub.com/greek/5585.htm
you need a ψῆφος
https://biblehub.com/greek/5586.htm
After Revelation 2:17 just for the victor

Re: the one who has understanding
didn't he call it "counters"?
Triangle 73 having an outline of 216 counters = 216 pebble stones, with which you can build a cube

γινώσκω (from which νοῦς and γνῶσις ) was also in Luke 8:10,
