Because it's obviously important to the Encoder. So it should be important to us too. Star 925 comes from a centred triangle. Centred triangles 901, 1585 and several more are made use of in Genesis 1.1. This is important. It's not a bloody competition! I'm trying to teach you some of what I know to help you and everyone else in your own work. It doesn't take away from anything you have or anyone else has. It only adds.

Gematria is as much an art as a science, because meaningful connections are part of its DNA. So one can never say for certain that 38 is not a substitute for 888, or 36 for 666, 37 for 777, etc. But I take a minimalist approach. That way, although we will certainly miss some connecting branches, we will keep to the main branches and stay on the tree.

However, you've made a serendipitous discovery here, so well done. I will explain how.

The COG of T73 is 1201. This is also the largest hexagram from a centred triangle (901 in this case) that can fit inside T73. The COG of T37 is 313, which is the largest hexagram that will fit inside T37.

You rightly note that 1201 - 313 = 888

So we have a geometric representation of 888 in The Creation Triangle, a hexagram-shaped annulus, which you will get if you subtract hex313 from hex1201. I'll draw it and put it on the thread later.

888 is found as the sums of word values in G1.1: 86 + 395 + 407 = 888.

It is also found to quite a high degree of accuracy by dividing the verse sum by the individual word values and putting in a scaling factor, of course.

2701 x 10^17/(913x203x86x401x395x407x296) = 888.0383. . .

This is out by only 0.0043%, or 1 part in 23146

I doubt if I was the first to find that, but it's superb.

Here is The Creation Triangle with star annulus 888, formed by subtracting the largest star hexagram inside triangle 703 (313) from the largest star hexagram inside triangle 2701 (1201).

This is absurd. I was being kind. The truth, Alex, is that 38 is unlikely to be 'code' for 888. Even if it is, it is a very, very minor piece of code. There are great chunks of meat everywhere in the Bible, still waiting to be found, but you run around picking up tiny crumbs - or is it dust motes? - and imagine they are important.

Do you know the most important way of signifying 888? 888 itself! After that, there is 512 and 24. I've seen evidence for both of those signifying 888. As for 38, or 83, they are at best so peripheral they aren't worth bothering about, since there is so much low-hanging fruit around. Should we not be picking that first? I've asked you to explain what your code is about and you either can't or won't do that. I suspect you're hiding in the shadows, fearing being uncovered as a charlatan.

You did stumble over something important, which I just elucidated in my last post. But instead of celebrating it with me, you obsess over why I don't fully recognize 38 being 'code' for 888.
