This is the incredible solution to the riddle given in Revelation 13.18, solved after 19 years of labour, and summarised in this 10-minute video.

The foundations were lain by Vernon Jenkins and Richard himself found an important piece of the puzzle.

The Torah begins, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." The numerical value of the entire verse is 2701, the triangle of 73 (the sum of all numbers from 1 to 73). In one of the traditional Aramaic translations of the Bible, the very first word, "In the beginning," is translated as "With wisdom" (based on the verse in Psalms, "The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God"). Wisdom, חכמה, equals 73, but so does misunderstanding, אי הבנה.

It might be well Ginsburgh did deliberately stress that word, since Revelation 13:18 reads:

ωδε ἡ σοφία ἐστίν: ὁ ἔχων νοῦν ψηφισάτω τὸν ἀριθμὸν τοῦ θηρίου

"Here is the wisdom, let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, etc."

The history of the texts and their translations, along with any associated controversies, is totally irrelevant.

The text of Genesis 1.1 I used is from the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia, based on the Masoretic Text, and is the authoritative version of the Hebrew Bible. The verse itself has remained unchanged for at least 2000 years. I've seen two fragments, dating to just before and just after Jesus walked the earth, and together they confirm it.

The text of Revelation 13.18 is from the Textus Receptus, the most widely used version for translation among protestant denominations.

The information manifested in those texts and the languages in which they were written through our unconscious minds and by a slow process of crystalisation, coordinated from above and completed only now, the appointed time for its release.

The question of whether or not it is a riddle could be called a controversy, although it is clear to me that we are invited to attempt some kind of calculation.

Revelation 13.18 says it is the number of a man, or man in general in some translations. The key is vav, the Hebrew aleph-bet's sixth letter. Man was created on the sixth day and was commanded to work for six days. Man is part of life on earth, which incorporates fractal geometry, symbolised by fractal snowflakes, stars, trefoils, etc, which are used to convey the message that Jesus' death on the cross was the ultimate fulfilment of the Day of Atonement, Jesus playing the part of the animals sacrificed on that day. As such it confirms Christian teaching on the meaning of the crucifixion. The name associated with 666 is Jesus Christ. As the video shows, his name is hidden in the verse and in the English phrase 'six hundred and sixty-six. You're reading it all too literally, as most Christians throughout history have done. But the Bible is rarely as straightforward as that.

This, I think, is a very good observation:



"the image of the beast" is said to be nothing else than "the abomination of desolation" --

which I think is true.

[8:13] The desolating sin: the Hebrew contains a wordplay (shomem) on the name Baal Shamem ("lord of the heavens," identified by some as the Greek Zeus Olympios). The reference is to some object with which Antiochus profaned the Temple of Jerusalem (2 Mc 6:2), most probably a pagan altar.

Greek Zeus, Latin Jupiter, Lord of heaven, opposer of the Hebrew God who is "God, owner , creator of heaven and earth"

I thought it to be a wordplay with Greek "soter" = savior
