    God's God - an excellent explanation of the reason for religion

    This is an excellent video that explains the reason for religion.

    • Skepticism is the antiseptic of the mind.
    • Remember why we debate. We have nothing to lose but the errors we hold. Who but a stubborn fool would hold to errors once they have been exposed?

    The video simply explains that humans can make up any story they want to. This might explain why humans create their own gods and form their religions around their gods, but this does not explain the Creator around which humans minds ought to be centered. God made humans so they could choose what they want to do, that is why humans have created their own gods and rejected the true Creator.

    God is eternal. The question of who made God is a non-starter. God's intelligence is eternal and constant. God's substance and intelligence is not of the same substance which God has made. God is not made of atoms, or subatomic particles. God has made all the particles in the Universe, which means God is greater than that which he has created.

    Everything we see in the Universe is made up of atoms or subatomic particles. Humans are made of complex molecules made of atoms. The human brain is made of a finite number of atoms. Humans are imprisoned by what they are made of. There is no escape outside of that of which we are made. Our thoughts and memories are all contained within the atoms that make up our brains.

    How God stores the spirit of a person after the body goes back to dust is a mystery we shall never know or understand how it is done. Just as God is outside the limits of that which he has made, the spirit could be kept as a program stored in the mind of God, which is of a substance completely unknown by man and is undetectable by science. God exists outside the realm of what he has created and God cannot be detected by anything humans can make out of that which God has already made.

    God cannot be compared to humans with a finite mind incapable of making even one subatomic particle from the substance that God used. If God has a limit, that limit is greater than the Universe he has created. The Universe is so vast, it is as though God's power is infinite. God has the power to dissolve the Universe should he so desire and there would be nothing humans could do about it.

    God is an entity whose substance cannot be understood and which Jesus simply stated was Spirit. That Spirit is the unseen force which can permeate everything that God has created. The matter that the Universe is made of could be made from the unknown energy that is God. God is all in that all has been made out of his substance/energy which has been transformed into the matter that we know of, but cannot know beyond.

    God can see all and know all by being able to permeate all. God's knowledge is so great by comparison to humans, humans cannot comprehend the the knowledge God has. Again, by comparison to humans, God's knowledge might as well be infinite, since humans cannot measure it. God knows everything he needs to know and can do anything he wants to do and humans are powerless to do anything about it.

    God is true to his word, unlike humans, who cannot be trusted to keep their own word. Once God has spoken, he does not change his word. Therefore, God is true and just and righteous and constant. Humans understand the concepts of truth, justice and righteousness, but humans are fickle and are not constant. Humans can understand the attributes of God's mind, but cannot comprehend the greatness of God's mind. The human mind fails where God's mind does not fail.

    God gets to know all, and can judge righteously. It is impossible for humans to judge righteously when they do not possess all the facts. Humans simply do not have the mind of God. Those who criticize God are doing so, without knowledge of God and what he knows. Humans who reject God's instruction are self-opinionated and do that which is right in their own eyes, even to the point of arrogance thinking they know better than God.

    The first lesson that ought to be learned by humans, because of their inferiority to the great mind and power of God, is humility. Unless humans have humility before God, then humans express their arrogance and disrespect to God's face. God is justified in keeping his word, to do to evil to those who likewise do evil and disrespect God as their Creator and do those things which God has said are an abomination to him. Humans can expect the wrath of God to come upon them for their actions that are not in keeping with God's requirements.

    Given that God is so powerful and can create things as he wants them to be, humans cannot say that God has not built age into his Creation. That is going to baffle scientists who see the age and then try top explain how it came about. If humans want to believe a lie and be deluded, then God will let them be deluded. That is the same as God sending them a strong delusion. Scientists who say there is no God, God has them in derision. Those who take counsel against God, read Psalm 2, for it says, he shall laugh at them.

    Instead of doing as God's chosen race did; they stopped their ears and pulled away the shoulder and would listen and take the advice of God (Zech 7:11), Proverbs 2 tells us;
    2:1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
    2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
    3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
    4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
    5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
