Folks in the Bible Belt watch the most PORN.

The problem with dogmatic religion is that it tends to corrupt the minds and morals of believers. This is because folks are taught that they will suffer eternal torment in hell if they don't claim to "believe" in the dogmas like "God is trustworthy" and "Jesus died for my sins." The effect is particularly pernicious when folks are encouraged to assert demonstrable falsehoods, like "The Bible is the inerrant and infallible Word of God." This is a direct attack on the integrity of their hearts and minds. It is the seed of corruption that ultimately leads to the intellectual and moral bankruptcy that characterizes Christian fundamentalism.

The Huffington Post presented this graphic in this article. It shows that folks in the Bible Belt spend the longest time watching porn. Remember, this is a statistical study. It shows that there is a correlation between Christian fundamentalism and watching porn. The three black states - Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama - are the "buckle" in the Bible belt. They watch more porn than anyone else in the country! It is lowest in the states where atheism is dominant, like my home state of Washington.

    • Skepticism is the antiseptic of the mind.
    • Remember why we debate. We have nothing to lose but the errors we hold. Who but a stubborn fool would hold to errors once they have been exposed?

It's none of anyone's business if people watch porn or do what ever. How about statistics on which states practice the most homosexuality? which states smoke the most marijuana etc. Can we do anything about it? The only thing we can do is not to encourage them. i can guarantee you folks in the BiBle Belt will score the least in homosexuality and marijuana use.

    God Bless.
