The Evidence of the Stones


At the bottom of this post is a video of two lectures presented by Dr Don Patton, Ph.D.
The video is 1hr 20min and 52 secs and comprises of two lectures of approximately 40 minutes each.
This video was made circa late 2007 and gives up to date archaeological findings to support the Biblical accounts. In some cases it is the Biblical record that gave clues to where these archaeological ruins could be found.
The evidence put forward in this video includes the following:-

• Gilgal stones from Jordan
• Fallen walls of Jericho

• Balaam inscription

In conclusion, apart from the concluding remarks by Dr Adam Zertal, Chairman, Department of Archaeology, University of Haifa, Dr Patton said; "Dr Adam Zertal started off as an atheist is now a believer".

Hi David,

Just because the historicity of the Bible is shown to be accurate through archeological findings, does nothing to validate the authenticity of its god. I think the Bible is very valuable as an historical document giving great insights into the thought of ancient man and how they lived, my argument is against believing in its male warrior god as creator of the universe.

Looking to the bible through an archeological perspective makes it like the bible is a history textbook don't you think.
