Hey Stephen,

Thanks for weighing in on this topic. Do you note the extreme irony of the the "literalist" position that inserts a non-existent 2000+ year gap into the text? A similar thing happens with the interpretation of "this generation" in the Olivet Discourse in Matt 24, and the meaning of "soon" in Revelation. If the "literalist" position is anything, it most certainly is "non-literalist"!



I find the striking confluence of the Number 70 in Daniel's prophecy very significant. The the 70 weeks fulfilled in 70 AD when Israel was finally dispersed into the Gentile nations (represented by the Number 70). I also think there is "something" going on with the symbols of the Great Seal, but I still don't have any sense that America should be thought of as literal Manasseh, or any other tribe of Israel for that matter. I am getting the impression that you would admit there is no "solid proof" or even "compelling suggestion" that America is a tribe of Israel. I say that because most of your arguments are on the level of symbolic correspondence which does not seem to carry the literalist implications required to support the idea that America is literally a tribe of literal Israel.

Of course, it could be that you just haven't finished presenting your arguments, in which case I will withhold final judgment.

My thoughts are always open for revision, but I can share what I have figured so far. Basically the tribes were scattered, the temple was destroyed and we were brought out of Egypt too. Deut. we were told that we would be sent to a new land one day (the latter days) that would be flowing with milk and honey. America seems to represent this new Jer USA salem, because he told us we would never go back to Jerusalem again. Its spiritual Israel because basically He will write the law on the inward parts this time instead of how the Pharisees were administering the law, which always focused on the outward instead of cleaning the inside of the cup. If its right on the inside, the outside environment will reflect this. This reasoning process is something that we must go through in order to snap what is already written into place, its already within, but the enemy has it all set up from the moment you are born to implant you with his ideas these things. This creates the duality in us. Before we were born in this world we were without sin, but the enemy hopes to defile us so that the Father will not want us anymore so that he then can own us and he can be God. . This programming is setup to supplant the dna from the creator, because even though its in our DNA we must recognize and receive them in our psyche so we can become fully grown with sound judgement, fully persuaded else we will continue sinning, because ANYTHING you do thats not in faith is a sin. He wants us to be able to judge and govern ourselves. Every man within to be a wellspring of life, instead of unstable and requiring outside help as well as a way of life where we constantly are doing things we really don't wanna do. I would much rather be in a place where the dynamic between each other consisted of doing things because we wanted to. Who wants to do a job or anything they don't want to? In finishing, He will not leave us altogether without punishment though. Since judgment begins in the house of God America will be invaded and surrounded soon probably literally. It may look and get grim, but only a good father chastises his children . God will look the other way for a moment while this happens, but at the last moment he will rush in and destroy all our enemies since he will have them all in one place.
