I have recently begun writing Haiku poems as a form of meditation, focusing on the essence of a thought, and shaping words around it using the Haiku structure of 5-7-5.

I would like to use this thread to share my poems.....hopefully encouraging others to share their own inspirations.:)

Truth roars like thunder
When breaking free from its cage...
A matrix of lies

The structure of the standard Haiku poem is written in 3 lines with a total of 17 syllables, 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second line, and 5 in the third line. I like the idea of having a limited structure with which to express the essence of a thought.
