Proverbs 30

1 The words (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1697]&t=KJV) of Agur the son (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1121]&t=KJV) of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5002]&t=KJV) unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,

2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man. (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H120]&t=KJV)

3 I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.

4 Who hath ascended up (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5927]&t=KJV) into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7307]&t=KJV) in his fists? who hath bound the waters (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H4325]&t=KJV) in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H776]&t=KJV) what is his name, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV) and what is his son's (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1121]&t=KJV) name, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV) if thou canst tell?

5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

6 Add thou not unto his words, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1697]&t=KJV) lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

7 Two (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8147]&t=KJV) things have I required of thee; deny (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H4513]&t=KJV) me them not before I die:

8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1697]&t=KJV) give me neither poverty (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5414]&t=KJV) nor riches; feed me with food convenient (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3899]&t=KJV) for me:

9 Lest I be full, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7646]&t=KJV) and deny thee, and say, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H559]&t=KJV) Who is the LORD? (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3068]&t=KJV) or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV) of my God (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H430]&t=KJV) in vain.

10 Accuse not a servant unto his master, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H113]&t=KJV) lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty.

11 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.

12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5375]&t=KJV)

14 There is a generation, whose teeth (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8127]&t=KJV) are as swords, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H2719]&t=KJV) and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H398]&t=KJV) the poor from off the earth, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H776]&t=KJV) and the needy (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H34]&t=KJV) from among men. (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H120]&t=KJV)

15 The horseleach hath two (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8147]&t=KJV) daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7969]&t=KJV) things that are never satisfied, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7646]&t=KJV) yea, four things say (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H559]&t=KJV) not, It is enough:

16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H776]&t=KJV) that is not filled (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7646]&t=KJV) with water; (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H4325]&t=KJV) and the fire that saith (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H559]&t=KJV) not, It is enough.

17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1121]&t=KJV) eagles shall eat (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H398]&t=KJV) it.

18 There be three (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7969]&t=KJV) things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:

19 The way (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1870]&t=KJV) of an eagle in the air; the way (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1870]&t=KJV) of a serpent upon a rock; the way (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1870]&t=KJV) of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1870]&t=KJV) of a man with a maid.

20 Such is the way (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1870]&t=KJV) of an adulterous woman; (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H802]&t=KJV) she eateth, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H398]&t=KJV) and wipeth her mouth, and saith, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H559]&t=KJV) I have done no wickedness.

21 For three (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7969]&t=KJV) things the earth (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H776]&t=KJV) is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear: (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5375]&t=KJV)

22 For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7646]&t=KJV) with meat; (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3899]&t=KJV)

23 For an odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.

24 There be four things which are little upon the earth, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H776]&t=KJV) but they are exceeding wise:

25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3559]&t=KJV) their meat (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3899]&t=KJV) in the summer;

26 The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;

27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3318]&t=KJV) all of them by bands;

28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.

29 There be three (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7969]&t=KJV) things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:

30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7725]&t=KJV) for any;

31 A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.

32 If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5375]&t=KJV) thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.

33 Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3318]&t=KJV) butter, and the wringing of the nose (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H639]&t=KJV) bringeth forth (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3318]&t=KJV) blood: so the forcing of wrath (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H639]&t=KJV) bringeth forth (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3318]&t=KJV) strife.

Amos 4

1 Hear this word, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1697]&t=KJV) ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H34]&t=KJV) which say (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H559]&t=KJV) to their masters, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H113]&t=KJV) Bring, and let us drink.

2 The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5375]&t=KJV) with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.

3 And ye shall go out (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3318]&t=KJV) at the breaches, every (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H802]&t=KJV) cow at that which is before her; and ye shall cast them into the palace, saith (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5002]&t=KJV) the LORD. (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3068]&t=KJV)

4 Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7969]&t=KJV) years:

5 And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1121]&t=KJV) of Israel, saith (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5002]&t=KJV) the Lord GOD.

6 And I also have given (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5414]&t=KJV) you cleanness of teeth (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8127]&t=KJV) in all your cities, and want of bread (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3899]&t=KJV) in all your places: yet have ye not returned (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7725]&t=KJV) unto me, saith (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5002]&t=KJV) the LORD. (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3068]&t=KJV)

7 And also I have withholden (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H4513]&t=KJV) the rain from you, when there were yet three (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7969]&t=KJV) months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

8 So two (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8147]&t=KJV) or three (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7969]&t=KJV) cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H4325]&t=KJV) but they were not satisfied: (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7646]&t=KJV) yet have ye not returned (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7725]&t=KJV) unto me, saith (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5002]&t=KJV) the LORD. (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3068]&t=KJV)

9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H398]&t=KJV) them: yet have ye not returned (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7725]&t=KJV) unto me, saith (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5002]&t=KJV) the LORD. (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3068]&t=KJV)

10 I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1870]&t=KJV) of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H2719]&t=KJV) and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5927]&t=KJV) unto your nostrils: (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H639]&t=KJV) yet have ye not returned (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7725]&t=KJV) unto me, saith (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5002]&t=KJV) the LORD. (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3068]&t=KJV)

11 I have overthrown some of you, as God (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H430]&t=KJV) overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7725]&t=KJV) unto me, saith (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5002]&t=KJV) the LORD. Too many highlights can be a distraction, so I'm going to break it down. Here is the first passages where they link:

Proverbs 30

4 Who hath ascended up (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5927]&t=KJV) into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7307]&t=KJV) in his fists? who hath bound the waters (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H4325]&t=KJV) in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H776]&t=KJV) what is his name, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV) and what is his son's (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1121]&t=KJV) name, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV) if thou canst tell?

Amos 4

12 Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3559]&t=KJV) to meet thy God, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H430]&t=KJV) O Israel.

13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7307]&t=KJV) and declareth unto man (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H120]&t=KJV) what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H776]&t=KJV) The LORD, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3068]&t=KJV) The God (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H430]&t=KJV) of hosts, is his name. (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV)

Proverbs 30:4 asks what is his name, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV) and Amos 4:13 answers The LORD, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3068]&t=KJV) The God (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H430]&t=KJV) of hosts, is his name (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV).

Amos is the 30th book so Amos 4 can also be expressed this way 30:4 just as Proverbs 30:4.

But Amos 4 isn't the only part this is mentioned, but in Amos 5 and 9 as well.

Proverbs 30

(https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H776]&t=KJV) what is his name, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV) and what is his son's name, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV) if thou canst tell? (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3045]&t=KJV)

Amos 5

8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H4325]&t=KJV) of the sea, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3220]&t=KJV) and poureth them out upon the face (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H6440]&t=KJV) of the earth: (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H776]&t=KJV) The LORD (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3068]&t=KJV) is his name: (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV)

27 Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H559]&t=KJV) the LORD, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3068]&t=KJV) whose name (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV) is The God (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H430]&t=KJV) of hosts.

And Amos 9:
Proverbs 30

4 Who hath ascended up (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5927]&t=KJV) into heaven, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8064]&t=KJV) or descended? (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3381]&t=KJV) who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H4325]&t=KJV) in a garment? who hath established (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H6965]&t=KJV) all the ends (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H657]&t=KJV) of the earth? (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H776]&t=KJV) what is his name, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV) and what is his son's (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H1121]&t=KJV) name, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8034]&t=KJV) if thou canst tell?

Amos 9

2 Though they dig into hell, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H7585]&t=KJV) thence shall mine hand (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3027]&t=KJV) take them; though they climb up (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5927]&t=KJV) to heaven, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H8064]&t=KJV) thence will I bring them down: (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3381]&t=KJV)

3 And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5869]&t=KJV) in the bottom of the sea, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H3220]&t=KJV) thence will I command the serpent, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H5175]&t=KJV) and he shall bite them:

Greg,

Since you have a program that finds all the Strong's number two chapters have in common, why don't you just run it on all possible combination of chapters? That way, you can see which are correlated the most strongly and you can then check if they align according to your hypothesis. This will give you real evidence for or against your hypothesis. Your cherry picking is a complete waste of time.

All the best,

Richard

Well, I'm looking, let's say Isaiah 2 with the entire book of Exodus. There are certain words in common throughout the book as you'll notice the same above, such as coming, going, enter, hear, son...but there are also certain words that appear 2 or 3 times between texts. And the number of words in common vary from chapter-to-chapter. At some point you see almost nothing and other places you'll see a lot of things in common that you have to get organized. I understand seeing too many highlighted things become a distraction. So in that case I would break it down. I mean, I would try to get some words appearing 2-3 times and then add some that appear commonly and see if there is a common theme or not. Research isn't always a hit.

14 And upon all the high mountains, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=[H2022]&t=KJV) and upon all the hills that are lifted up,

Yeah, that's a problem I've noticed. If you edit a post a twice, the second time it will show the text as it was before you edited the first time. You can fix this by hitting F5 to refresh the page after opening the editor. It's a problem with the way the browsers cache the data. It didn't happen before I moved to the new host, so there's some setting on the new host I need to change. I'll let you know when I fix it.

12 It is not in heaven, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H8064&t=KJV) that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H5927&t=KJV) for us to heaven, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H8064&t=KJV) and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

19 The way (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H1870&t=KJV) of an eagle in the air; (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H8064&t=KJV) the way (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H1870&t=KJV) of a serpent upon a rock; the way (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H1870&t=KJV) of a ship in the midst of the sea; (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H3220&t=KJV) and the way (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H1870&t=KJV) of a man with a maid.

20 Such is the way (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H1870&t=KJV) of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H6310&t=KJV) and saith, (https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H559&t=KJV) I have done no wickedness.
