Yeah, that's right, the root tones, them thar' cords transitority postionings is right out of the R&B genre, but this here tune with accomplicenyment is done with all the twang and nasal enunciation of any reputatable Bluegrass band strayt from the mid-South, like up in the Blue Ridge Mountains or the hills of Tennessee or Kentucky.
This video is clips right from where the song come out from, a Movie called "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou" about the misadventures of three escaped convict down South, back in the days when Jim Crow made sure there would never be given a mule and fourty acres to any freed slave.
