...of all the sins that man endureth
tis the sting of love he shall remember for all time
for while the soul ascendeth
the seed may yet remain
but its love that causes flesh to burn
and the heart to seek the flame

Fuego,

Allow me to offer an alternative version, if you will;

...of all effects of death's influence
tis the sting of death that is most endured
for the soul cannot ascend
nor the seed remain
for it is sin that causes the flesh to burn
and the heart to seek the flame.

The ressurection of sin holds the power you speak of.

As I read it.

The resurrection of sin? I've never heard such an idea. What does it mean?
