If one looks at the idea of 'God' as being made up of the collective whole of all things, instead of as a 'separate existing objective entity', with each human life being one of the 'Hands of God', then it is much easier to imagine our bodies as a microcosm reflecting the larger macrocosm of the universe; an analogy can then be drawn to compare the two. With our mind and body working together in harmony, and our self determined actions coming from the desires of our minds (self-awareness) which we can carry out with our bodies, we can then look to the whole of the cosmos and see how it also works together in a balanced way.

The only way the universe as a whole can rise to a higher level of consciousness is by self-aware creatures (humans) carrying out self-determined actions, thus we are in a sense the 'Hands of God' working together to carryout the will of the whole collective universe of which we are a integral part. As human consciousness steadily rises to a higher and higher level we can pass on the knowledge that’s acquired at each step of the way causing the whole to continually expand in an ever increasing inward and outward spiral.

Every act of compassion and empathy that we bestow upon another life, whether it be human or animal adds to the ever expanding level of consciousness of the universe. We as humans have the ability to change the structure of the cosmos by using the power of our empathic minds connecting to the whole. Each human life that acts empathically is a hand, carrying out an action, which elevates the consciousness level of the whole.

Wonderful post Rose. This ties in with Elisha "raising" the son "hand to hand", eye to eye, mouth to mouth. The hand is the Kaf...which has a "hollow" connotation. (we must be emptied of self interest, etc..before we can "see" that we are all One) The altar(heart) had to be hollow, as well as the pipes to the bowl of light on the candlestick. http://www.biblewheel.com/Wheel/Spokes/Kaph_Glory.asp

You mention harmony...and of course, all woodwind instruments...as well as bag pipes (of skin) are hollow. "hand(11) to hand(11)"...we are "22"...revelation, the Key to the universe.

That is a powerful image. Thanks for focusing on it. When Elisha fully "touched" the dead son - mirroring his condition point by point he united with him - entered into his death and so imparted the llife he was channeling from from God.

Kaph - the open hand - is a powerful image because we must open our hand both when giving and receiving. That is indeed the key to the universe. The magic of love - the more you give the more you get!

Hi Kathyrn,

I like to look at the verse in Mark 16:18 "They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." in a new way...

Think of what the hands of men have done to help the sick, and I mean every manner of sick person. Whether it be a person who is sick at heart and is comforted by the hands of another, or the hands of a physician helping to heal a sick body...we as living beings are the "Hands of God" giving love.

All the best,
Rose

Think of what those loving hands could do when dripping with cannabis oil! Now that's an annointing! And there are more than a few who believe that such was the source of the original Christian gnosis.

Hi Rose...Yes...I see what you're saying. However...this verse is also describing the time when Adam's dominion over the earth is restored by the power in the unity of the double witness (or ONE eye of the TWO..eye to eye

)By dominion, I mean the restoration (in consummation of Heaven and Earth, spirit and matter) of God's perfect will, which has always been complete wholeness, body , soul and spirit.

Until the "hands" have been fully hollowed out..or emptied of self (vain imaginations )...they can't be the conduit of that power. We have been healed from the foundation of the World (by His stripes we HAVE been healed)...and in walking out that knowledge in His Love, as you are speaking of above, we become the "integrated circuit" that releases the power. This is why the word "Kaf" is used and not "Yod" in the account of Elisha. The TWO divided hands, (left and right)...must become ONE...The Yod and Kaf become the "fist" (21..shin..teeth..spirit) that defeats sickness and death.

Rose...I just wanted to clarify that by doing all of the things you mentioned in your post, we are walking in agreement with the character and purposes and will of our Creator. This is the power of the double witness consummated...FULL agreement on WHO He is (and who HE is in US)

For years...I would see people in the church bring someone who was ill....and asking people to "stand in agreement" with them because this is what the word says to do, thinking that all it took was to "agree" the person should be healed. The trouble was and still is, that we can't fully agree until we KNOW the character and purposes and will of God are and always have been ALL GOOD towards and for us!

We've been trying to raise people up from their sick-beds, while still carrying a mixture of opinions about Him. According to the majority of the church...He is a God who throws his children in hell , saves only a remnant, chosen few, thinks some of his kids are abominations, etc. This is why we are still "sick and dying".

The "left hand of judgement" must consummate with the "right hand of mercy"...and become the One Eye of the Beloved/Lover.

Hi Kathyrn,

Yes, total unity and oneness is where it's at. Just like when our bodies and minds are in harmony we are able to live in health and well-being. Any system that is at odds with itself cannot have wholeness...but, when we realize that we are the living universe, then we become the loved and the lover.

Very well stated, my dear!

That is the amazing insight from the "larger view" of the Whole. The Loved and the Lover are One ... yet somehow remain Two. Deep stuff.
