Gather together in the fullness of time

This link between the Inner cycle of Genesis (http://www.biblewheel.com/InnerWheels/Genesis/Genesis49.asp), connecting chapter 49 with book 49 (Ephesians on Spoke 5) is a remarkable prophetic connection that gives the vision in Genesis 49, and reveals its fulfillment in book 49.

Gen. 49:10 (Book 1 – chapter 49 – verse – 10) The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Eph. 1:10 (Book 49 – chapter 1 – verse 10) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

As can be seen in the verses above the time when 'Shiloh would come' would be the 'fullness of times'. Galatians gives us a perfect description of when the fullness of time occurred.

Gal. 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

That's exciting! :bounce:

The link involves three levels: book, chapter and verse!

Gen. 49:10 is Book 1 – chapter 49 – verse 10

Eph. 1:10 is Book 49 – chapter 1 – verse 10

What a wondrous link!

Gen. 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

In the fulness of time, all things were gathered in one, in Christ who is Shiloh, the King of Judah. The three highlighted elements seem to link to the three numbers that index the passages (49,1,10).

Fulness of time: 49 is 7 X 7, which indicates fulness, including of time. (Compare Daniel 9:24 on the same Spoke of Ephesians)

One: This is obvious - the unity brought by Christ links to the Number 1.

King of Judah: Judah is based on the word Yad, which means Hand and is cognate with the name of the 10th Letter Yod. In Book 10 the prophecy that kingly power would be granted to tribe of Judah was fulfilled when David ascended to the throne.
