Sowing the Word ... (May 30, 2006)

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

On May 6 I received the following note from Bob, a Chaplain and Sunday School teacher in a Methodist Church in New Jersey:

Bob and I then exchanged a few emails, and on May 16 he received his book and wrote me another note which began with these words:

The rest of his note is in the Research and Reviews section. In it, he offered to pay for the free distribution of books to leading pastors and teachers. After some more discussion, he felt led of God to contribute $400.00 for the distribution of 30 books. This really amazed me considering that he knew only through the book and this website which he had first encountered just a week earlier. I praise God for raising up such wonderful fellow-workers!

To facilitate the transfer of funds, I added a "Donate" button to the bottom of the free eBook page. You can use that button if you feel led of God to contribute to this work in general or if you want to specify that the funds be used to send out books to pastors of your choice. I will send a book (in your name or with a cover letter you have written if you so request) to any minister in the USA for only $15.00 per copy, which includes the cost of shipping and handling. Just send me an email with the name of the minister to whom you want to give the book.

I am posting the names here to give fellow believers the opportunity to stand in the gap, and to intercede on behalf of these servants of God, that the Lord may give them "eyes to see" the magnitude of the revelation of the Bible Wheel, so that the Word of the Lord will be glorified and we will be brought closer to the day when "the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea" (Habakkuk 2:14).

Their Doctrinal Statement  shows that they are strong believers in the Word and are fully Christian. Knowledge of the Bible Wheel could greatly empower this ministry to reach the Jews since they already know the meanings of the Hebrew Letters and so will not be able to deny the Divine Origin of the Christian Bible (unless they refuse to look, of course!).

He wrote a book called The Mystery of the Menorah and the Hebrew Alphabet  in which he correlated the 66 Books of the Bible with the Hebrew alphabet. He was impressed by the ancient Jewish tradition that there are exactly 22 Books in the Old Testament which they achieved by regouping the Books (e.g. the double Books were counted as one, the Minor Prophets as one, etc.). The problem with this is fourfold: 1) There never has been a consensus on the exact pattern of 22 Books amongst the Jews, 2) the Jews long ago settled on the count as 24 rather than 22 Books [see The Christian OT vs. the Tanakh], 3) God did not transmit His Book to us in the Jewish pattern of the Old Testament (Tanakh), and 4) the pattern that Brother Church used did not simultaneously encompass the Old and New Testaments, nor show their unity. All of these issues evaporate with the revelation of the Bible Wheel. It is my prayer that he will be open to see that such regrouping is not necessary, and that God has given us His Word in the exact form that He originally intended.

He also has a radio show called 66/40  which he opens with the words "The 66 books of the Bible were written by about 40 authors over a span of thousands of years, and now we discover it to be an integrated message system from outside our time domain." He also says he believes that every name, every number, every word was "designed" by God. He seems very well prepared to receive the revelation of the Bible Wheel.

It takes a lifetime to even begin to appreciate the loving and careful guidance that God exerts over our lives. We are like ants crawling on the surface an apple. We're so close to the surface we can't even tell it is curved. But our Lord sees it all, and holds it all in His hand, and guides us to fulfill His perfect Will in our lives.

The photograph was taken at Paradise  (that's its real name!), Mount Rainier, in 1985 when I went for a hike with Robin, my best buddy from college, and his sister Rose. Robin and I were both working on degrees in Physics and Mathematics at Washington State University . We drifted apart after finishing college and I saw neither him nor his sister Rose until 2002 when the thought popped in my mind one day "I wonder what ever became of Robin?" I then did a quick internet search and found he was a Professor of Philosophy at Messsiah College .

So I sent him an email and we began the conversation where we had left it nearly twenty years earlier. He said he was going to visit his sister in Yakima, and since I lived not too far away in Seattle he suggested I come for a visit. So we got together again after all those years. It was amazing how familiar he seemed. God had united our hearts as brothers two decades earlier; it was like no time had passed at all.

During our visit I shared the Bible Wheel with Robin. His mathematical education well prepared him to evaluate my claims. He was immediately intrigued and began working on the probability that such a pattern could happen by chance. This stimulated me to try the same approach. The results were conclusive. There is exactly one chance in 688,324 that a random 66-book canonical structure would exhibit the sevenfold symmetric perfection that we find in the Protestant Bible. As an aside, I have been posting on internet forums for years now and have interacted with many people who would be absolutely delighted to disprove my claims, but as yet no one has ever successfully challenged those calculations. If you are a skeptic reading this and think you can prove me wrong, send me a valid proof of any error in the calculations and I will post it prominently on this site (just as I did the other day on a different topic). If you do find an error, it would be a great service to me since the last thing any servant of Truth would want is error on his website!

So anyway - to make a long story short - God had another plan when He popped the question "I wonder what happened to Robin?" into my mind. The second picture above shows my wife Rose, myself, and my old best buddy from college, Robin, standing beneath Union Falls (yep, that's its real name!) in 2005. We didn't plan the picture to turn out like the one taken twenty years earlier. But when they are placed near each other, and the story is told, we see once again how the faithfullness of our God extends beyond anything we could ever imagine! The phrase "He has a wonderful plan for your life" may sound trite to those who do not know Him and His ways, but to those of us who have lived long enough to see some of His plans grow from a tiny seed to a full and fruitful tree some twenty years later know the truth of that proverb. Faithful is the Lord! Praise His name now and forever!

God the Geometer (II)

In my efforts to share the revelation of the Bible Wheel, I occasionally visit other Churches and wait for God to open a door. I hadn't been doing this too often because I was busy completing the book and had regular activities at my own Church, but now that the book is done, I have something substantial to share and so it has become a more frequent activity.

Last Sunday morning's encounter proved yet again that God guides our every step. I had "spontaneously" decided to visit the Westside Baptist Church  without even thinking to check their schedule. The service was well under way when I got there and completely packed, so I had to sit along the back wall. A friendly man took an extra chair from a stack and offered me a place to sit beside him.

The morning's service was so full (about 800 folks) because there was a special speaker - David Marshall of the Kuai Mu Institute for Christianity and World Cultures  - giving a presentation on how to turn the the fallacies, lies, and absurdities  of the Da Vinci Code on their head to use them as a reason to share the truth of the Christian Faith with lost souls. I was excited by his talk because the Bible Wheel is the "Da Vinci Code Antidote" if ever there were one. So I looked forward to chatting with David Marshall after the service.

The service ended with the wonderful hymn In Christ Alone . This song always deeply moves me, and I lifted my hands in prayer as we sang. Almost no one else in the congration lifted their hands - some folks seem too self-consious for that. But the man next to me, whom I also heard praying quietly in concert with the pastor as he led the congregation, seemed encouraged by a free worshipper and he lifted his hands too. I felt I was standing beside a brother in the Lord.

As I was thinking about going up to meet David Marshall, the nice fellow sitting beside me introduced himself as "Ed" and we began chatting. I asked him what he does and he said he worked with Child Evangelism Fellowship  here in Yakima. He asked me what I do and I answered that I had recently published a book about the structure of the Bible. He said "Really? My daughter is going to a Bible Study on that very topic! Her name is Julie." My jaw dropped and I told him that my wife leads that Bible Study! It currently consists of only five women in this town of about 75,000 folks, yet one of them "just happens" to be his daughter. It turns out that Ed had read some of the rough draft of the Bible Wheel book that Rose had lent to Julie. So there I was, led by God through a crowd of 800 people to sit beside the father of one of the five out of 75,000 people in Yakima who "just happened" to be attending my wifes Bible Study, and who himself was already acquainted with my work! God the Geometer! He guides our every step! He intersects the lines of destiny He planned in eternity. The longer I live the more I see the perfection of His Plans for His People. What a glorious, loving, wise and caring God we serve!

Well, I'd love to write some more, but gotta go deliver nine dozen eggs to the Union Gospel Mission  in downtown Yakima. The chickens are producing more than we (a household of eight people) and our near friends could ever eat.

TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART, AND LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDER-STANDING. IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS!

He will even give you more eggs than you could eat if you ask for them and they are in His perfect Will for your life!

It is always a joy to be able to testify to the faithfulness of our God. An odd thing happened with our chickens a couple years ago. The whole flock simply stopped laying eggs. This lasted for months. Then one day we had the bright idea that maybe we should pray for our home and our land and our livestock and dedicate everything we own to the service of God. So the whole family got together and I grabbed my Bible and we walked around and prayed at the four corners of our property. Exactly three days later, we had eggs in our hands! The best part is that the kids will never forget this answered prayer. They participated in it and saw its results. Faithful is our God!

The Bible Wheel naturally lends itself to wonderful artistic expressions that point to the glory of what God has done in His Holy Word. I made the image below for the back of the Bible Wheel book, but later opted for a different image that showed the completed Bible Wheel.

In the image above, I was hoping to offer a vision of the unity of God's design in everything He created, from spiral galaxies to spiral seashells (based on spirals of DNA), to the structure of His Holy Word.

Writing the Book (04/07/06 10:12 PM)

This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him. ... For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

Hi folks! I think it is going to take me a while to recover from writing the book. Its like I can't write informally anymore. I habitually weigh and measure every word like its going to be permanently printed in a book. So I'm hoping this blog will help loosen up my fingers. That's why I like the verse above. I pray God will make me like Ezra.

Writing the Bible Wheel book presented two big challenges. First, I needed an introduction to the topic that would make it intuitively obvious that I myself had not "done anything" to produce the pattern. The solution came when my wife Rose was reading about the "book sealed with seven seals" (Rev 5:1) and saw a footnote that said the "book" was probably a scroll. The Lord quickened her imagination, and she saw the Bible roll up like a scroll in her minds eye. This then became the introduction to the subject. You can read it here in the online version of Chapter 1 of the Bible Wheel book.

The second and much greater challenge was my decision to attempt a complete and systematic synopsis of all Twenty-Two Spokes, covering the primary links between all Sixty-Six Books and the meanings of all Twenty-Two Hebrew Letters. And I had to do it in a way that would be accessible and useful for the average reader. Rose and I had many discussions about whether or not we would have to publish the Synopsis as a second book. The project just looked too big. We both knew there would be no end to what could be written, and neither of us new if I would be able to condense all the information into a reasonably sized and easy to read book. This problem was amplified by the fact that I didn't even know what the primary links were in many of the Books, primarily those of the Minor Prophets. I had an overabundance of information on the top Ten Spokes (1 through 5 and 18 through 22), but felt very insecure about some of the Spokes on the bottom. I told Rose that I very well may have to write "I don't know" for some of the Books like Obadiah, Nahum, and Zephaniah. The great and overwhelming miracle of God is that I never had to do that! Every Book of the Bible fell into place like a pre-designed puzzle piece. I will be sharing the process in this blog over the next few weeks.

Bible Wheel Medalion

Here is a picture of the Bible Wheel Medalion that my wife Rose made. It has 66 stones set in solid silver. Its really amazing to be able to wear the Bible as a piece of Divinely Designed Theological Art. Many folks comment on how beautiful it is without having any idea about what it really represents - the Book sealed with seven seals! The Eternal Word of God, sealed with utter perfection from Aleph to Tav, from Beginning to End! I'm looking for a company that will reproduce them for a reasonable price. It takes Rose about five hours to make one and its pretty tedius setting all those tiny stones, so I can't offer them for sale yet.

Well, my fingers are feeling a little more nimble now. Please feel free to write with any questions or comments about anything you see on this site. Also, I would really like to start exchanging links with folks. We need to get the Word out now in this day that that old cursed dragon is spewing forth lies about the Bible like a flood (The Da Vinci Code, The Gospel of Judas, The Jesus Papers - YUCK!).

With the completion of the Bible Wheel book, I now have time to update this site on a regular basis. I have so much to share! God has been gracious beyond all imagination!

Unfortunately, it was all I could do today to publish the latest updates listed on the What's New page. If you read nothing else, be sure to look at the Solution to the Synoptic Problem. It is one of the greatest revealations I have ever received. It gives complete, absolute, and incontrovertible proof of the Divine Design of every detail of Scripture, including its integration with the Hebrew Alphabet in the form of the Wheel.
