Spoke 9 1 Samuel, Obadiah, 2 Thessalonians

Goodness TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word. [Ps 119.65] Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments. [Ps 119.66] Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes. [Ps 119.68] It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. [Ps 119.71] The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver. [Ps 119.72] The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. [Ps 145.9] A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: [Ps 112.5a] A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. [Ps 37.16] Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. [PS 25.8] The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. [Lam 3.25] It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. [Lam 3.26] It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. [Lam 3.27] They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field. [Lam 4.9]

God made the meaning of Tet abundantly clear in the Alphabetic Verses, where he used the KeyWord (Tov, S# H2896), or one of its cognates, in 13 of the 22 Alphabetic Verses corresponding to Tet. The Rabbinic tradition coheres with God's Word, teaching that the fundamental symbolic meaning of Tet is Goodness.

Taste the Goodness of the Lord

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. [PS 34.8]

She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. [Pro 31.18]

The word translated as Taste and Percieve is the verb (Ta'am, S# H2938). In both these cases, God associated this KeyWord with the primary Tet KeyWord Tov. The first occurrence of this verb in Scripture is found in Book 9, (I Samuel 14.24, cf. A Taste of Honey).

Ta'am means both to taste in the normal sense and also taste in the sense of test, discern, or judge. This is the Hebrew equivalent of a "taste test." This reveals the "sharpness" of Tet, related to the idea of the bite of a serpent.

Filthiness

Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy hath magnified himself. [Lam 1.9]

This word is Toomah (S# H2932). It appears mostly in Leviticus. There appears to be a negative manifestation of the link between 9 and 3: 9 = 3 x 3, the mirror of the The Fruit of the Spirit.

Meat, Prey

He hath given meat unto them that fear him [Ps 111.5a]

This word is Teraph (S# H2964). In the Book of Isaiah, this word appears only in chapter 31 (Spoke 9, Cycle 2).

Sunk Down

Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD.

This word is Taba (S# H2932). In the sequence of the Psalms it first appears in Psalm 9. It is part of the nexus of ideas relating to the intensification of the Number 3: 9 = 3 x 3.
