I've just started watching Chuck Mister's commentaries on Genesis. In the first commentary he goes through the discovery of pi and e in G1.1 and J1.1, saying it "blew me away". He had been visiting the UK and someone told him about it, although he didn't mention the names of the researchers responsible for the formula (Vernon Jenkins, Peter Bluer and Craig Paardecooper, I believe).
This is the first time I've come across him. He's scientifically literate and sees no contradiction between true science and faith. In fact he shows how some scientific concepts can deepen our understanding of Scripture.
His discussion of it begins at 1h, 23m, 30s.

I should add that I don't agree with a lot of what he teaches, and I've just been reading that he was a controversial figure, but he's still very influential and if that helps promote some of the findings with which most of us are familiar, then it's to be applauded.

Re: Chuck Missler, pi and e
I'm new to him but he seems to polarise Christians in the USA. I'm not happy with his evangelical protestant stance. They are a huge mismatch with his sophisticated scientific understanding of reality. He still insists on a six 24-hr day Creation week, for instance, which is baffling, given that all 24 hours measure is the rotation of planet earth on its axis.
However, it's the codes that matter and I'm in agreement with a lot of what he is saying here. The ELS Torah code he introduces at the start, with a 49/7 letter skip interval, is spectacular, with TORH (Torah) in Genesis and Exodus, the mirror, HROT, in Numbers and Deuteronomy, with YHVH in the centre:
TORH TORH YHVH HROT HROT
I've found the same mirroring everywhere.
For example, if you string the number of letters in each word of Genesis 1.1 together, you get 6352534. The mirror is 4352536. These can be factories to give two values for God.
314 x 20231 Shaddai = 314
386 x 11276 Yeshua = 386
I also agree with his characterization of the Bible as holographic and he's given me new insights there. Tear a few pages out of the Bible and nothing is really lost. It's all about Jesus Christ and he's there on every page. In fact I've recently done a deep study of Genesis 1.1 and Jesus Christ is watermarked within it.
