Also, there is the divide/duality theme in Rev.22:2 pertaining to the Tree of Life.

Rev. 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Where the Tree of Life is not only in the midst of, but also on either side. What was divided has become one!

    This is good stuff....

The Number 13,699 and the union of Israel - north and south

In the Star of David and the Stella Octangula we have a symbol of the union of Spiritual Israel, whose fleshly type of old was divided in two kingdoms, north and south. God promised that they would be reunited once again, and the symbols of the Star of David and its corresponding 3-D solid are a beautiful picture of two parts becoming one.

The Stella Octangula that we have discussed in this thread has 13,699 counters. And there is one and only one verse in Scripture which has a numerical value of 13,699. According to the textual tradition passed down to us by the Majority Text, the verse is the following:
Mark 3:7 But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea.
This verse is a great image of the union brought to Israel by the Gospel: the multitudes from the north (Galilee) and south (Judea) are drawn together into one because of Jesus, just like the Stella Octangula that unites the two tetrahedrons pointing to north and south.

The numeric value of the verse correlates with the content of the verse!

This takes on even more significance when we reckon the 'sea' as representing the 'sea of nations'. He's drawing them to Himself 'in' the nations as if in a net.

Very interesting! I have noticed that Scripture uses the "sea" as a symbol for the "sea of Gentiles." This also is understood this way in Rabbinical writings (as should be expected since Scripture is the fountainhead of their beliefs).

I think he will get a good catch!

Luke 5:4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."

Great insights!! The Sea is such a powerful symbol!

Mark 3:7 is a very beautiful image of the union of Jews and Gentiles in Christ!
