I had not intended to make any further posts on these forums as no one seems to have accepted the possibility that the unusual method of gematria evaluation of Scripture that I have used reveals hidden truth. I have found that using the root word spelling of each word in a sentence results in a computed value that is equal to a word or words (not always root word spelling) which is directly associated with the scriptural truth that the sentence proclaims. This is found in the restatement of what is proclaimed regarding Jesus computing to values of 888, 1480, 2368, and 3168, which are the gematria values for Jesus, Christ, Jesus Christ, and Lord Jesus Christ, written in Greek. In other instances, there are numerous examples of sentences stating Biblical truth which calculate to numerical values for which random word associations are demonstrated. The skeptic may discount the findings as coincidence, manipulation, or confirmation bias.

Attached is a short article which I wrote as the result of inspiration that came to me recently after reading a letter to the editorial page of my local newspaper from someone who said that they had rejected the Christian faith, and had become an atheist, because there is no way to prove the existence of God. I was then inspired to use the method of gematria I have described to evaluate the words of Scripture which state: The fool in his heart saith, There is no God... In a very short period of time I arrived at some amazing confirmations of what is proclaimed in the Bible. The gematria associations are totally random findings since I had no knowledge of what words might have the numerical values computed for each sentence except for the final example. I have no argument to support the validity of the method of gematria which I feel that I have been guided by the Spirit to use other than the evidence itself. I am quite new to this forum and though I am not saying anything that has not been said before (probably in the archives), I do seem to be saying things that are either in direct opposition to what others think or some are prepared to consider and evaluate.

Gematria is not something I have studied as I am not good with languages. As I have stumbled upon this forum, and the BW website, I am interested in what Gematria has to offer. As Jesus said; (Mark 9:4) For he that is not against us is on our part.
so I am happy to go along with anything that supports the Bible.

I was recently presented with an article on Gematria which shows how the number 7 is throughout the phrase; "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth". Believing the Bible and the ancient scriptures to be the Inspired Word of God, it is not surprising to see the consistency of his word and the promises and prophecies which are consistent.

It does not surprise me that God has developed a language and given his chosen race a language that has a code or has a mathematucal design to it. The Bible uses numbers to give significance. The number '7' is associated with completeness, '8' new beginnings, '40' a period of testing. Materials like gold and silver also have special spiritual significance, so it does not surprise me that Gematria is proving to be a revealing tool.

I have found that searching for one's own posts does not seem possible on this forum, so I do not know how I can get to search for the posts you have written. I have still a lot of sections to investigate and I will now go to the most obvious to find some of your posts. I will now download your article and read it to find out what you have to say.

If you start posting again, you might have a better response now that the forum has grown and is growing each day.

The link works for me. It opens the file in Adobe Reader. Do you have that program installed on your machine?

I have found that searching for one's own posts does not seem possible on this forum, so I do not know how I can get to search for the posts you have written. I have still a lot of sections to investigate and I will now go to the most obvious to find some of your posts. I will now download your article and read it to find out what you have to say.

You can search for all the posts of any user by finding one of their posts and clicking on their name. A menu will pop up, and one of the options is "View Forum Posts."

Another way, if you are interesting in searching for posts from a particular use that includes certain words, is to click on the "Advanced Search" tab on the right of the top menu bar.

Thanks Richard, I was trying to get to the posts through the Advance Search. I have now got to see the posts so I will be able to go back and find posts more easily.

Regarding the links, thanks for saying they are working. My Firefox browser I think has recently updated for the worse rather than for the better. I now know where to look to get rid of the problem.
