    If anyone is entitled to hold this view, is it not the One who made the greater sacrifice to obtain the ultimate prize, 'for the joy that was set before him'?
    Read carefully Luke 10:15, noting, it is not the angels who are rejoicing. They are watching the Rejoicer.
    ~ Soldiers of Christ, arise! ~ Romans 7:4 + 6 Wherefore ye are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. ~ Psalm 141:5 ~

    Yesh...righto matey!

    Now that makes a whole lot more sense.

    “For if we go on sinning willfully--that is by rejecting,
    after receiving the knowledge of the truth,
    there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins;
    but a terrifying expectation of
    judgment with the fury of a fire
    which will consume the adversaries."

    I don't get it.

    Luke 10:15 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.

    David
    It should have been Luke 15.10.

    Only dyslexics understand things like this.

    Hi David,

    Sorry about that! You are so right! I did mean Luke 15:10. I have a sequencing problem which just showed up in the full blaze of this forum! I can't answer for Timmy, though. Maybe he recognised the topic and didn't bother to go to the verse....?

    Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

    That should be easier to 'get', now!
