Thought I'd share this video if it might offer some extra insight on old earth arguments not taken into account before.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38,39

Greetings back to you, Richard.
ISA is a free download obtained at www.scripture4all.org. ISA stands for "Interlinear Scriptural Analyzer". Check it out. I was curious as to mrdude's use of the tool which I find to be valuable in bible study. Joel

Aha - looks like a great tool. Thanks for sharing the link.
So what's Joel up to these days? It's been a long time since you've participated much in our discussions. As you know, I've gone through some "changes" - the most significant being that I'm not so quite so beligerent, opinionated, and hard-headed as I used to be when defending particular interpretations of Scripture.

Thanks for asking. As I continue to study the scripture, there are two tools to which I constantly refer; the BibleWheel database, and, the ISA. When opening the BW database, I will usually also go into the forum to see what's up. Since you have expanded the variety of topics, a diversity of input has come forth, without the apparent spiritual jousting of the past. This is good. Arguments do not seem to accomplish much.
I know that you have changed your views over the years, and the BW provides you with opportunity to express the changes with others. This I also see as good as the freedom to express views concerning God and His Word is a catalyst for growth.
As for me, I have been working on converting Chasing Truth to an e-reader format and will soon have it up on Amazon after a final edit phase. My studies have focused me on "time"; chronos aionios and all of the varying aspects in an attempt to gain a more realistic view of how time ( a part of the creation) applies to His divine plan and process.
Hope Rose and family are doing well.

Hi Joel,
Things are going well with Rose and me. We are both continuing to expand our view of the world. It's a very exciting time.
As for "arguing" - yes and no. Arguments certainly are pointless with those who aren't looking to learn, but for everyone else they are great catalyst and help in personal and intellectual growth. So I love debating everything under the sun ... if only I could find like minded folks!
Great to be chatting with you, my old friend,
Richard

Richard, I read your reply while listening to Steely Dan.........My Old school.......I'm never going back.....and it reminded me of you. You once were a active member of an "old school", but now you are a part of a new perspective. I have always thought of you as the master debater. You have the responses that silences the opponents. I admire and respect that of you.
Please know this....the Bible Wheel is such a valuable resource. And you put it together. How cool is that???
Peace and blessings to you and to yours. Joel

A MASTERdeBATER??? Is that what you called me?
But seriously .... thanks for the kind words.
I've always enjoyed Steely Dan. My favorite was "Rikki don't lose that number" - and the funny thing is, it was my favorite since high school, long before I got into numbers and the Bible.
I'm really glad you enjoy the database. I've been thinking it's time to update it. What features would you like me to add?
All the very best to you my friend,
Richard

The Bible Wheel is so valuable as a resource to see which words appear in other books. However, it does not show the nuances of words, such as the verbal differences as well as the nouns...as does the ISA.....if you could blend the two together.....that would be awesome!!! Joel
