Sound would not be a particle though, would it?
I suspect the infrasounds (real low) and ultrasounds (real high) are what turn particles into waves.

In John 1;1 it says " In the beginning was the word...." So therefore the word which is "sound" was with God when he first created earth(matter). This sort of goes along with the idea of sound being the basic building block of matter. Then it says in Gen;1;3 that " God said, let there be light." So again creation is caused by speaking. This is sound creating matter?

I don't think that sound can create matter because sound is transmitted by matter. In the beginning, before there was matter, there was no sound.

To me, the essence of a WORD is the IDEA that it stands for. Words are sometimes communicated by sound and other times by symbols like these alphabetic characters that I am writing right now. And sometimes they are only in my head with no sound or character but just an idea.

Hummm ... I have a couple problems with that. I don't think anyone has ever created matter with sound, but making sound with matter is a most common thing. So there seems to be an asymmetry here.

Also, I don't know what the word "sound" would mean except wave patterns in matter. So if sound is defined as a dynamic property of matter, then sound could not exist without matter, so if there were no matter there would be no sound to create the matter. But that leads directly into your next question ....

Electricity and magnetism are aspects of a single unified phenomenon called the "electromagnetic field" so neither is first.

As far as I know, light and sound are not different aspects of a single phenomenon. For example, light can travel in a vacuum, sound can not.

Thanks for the link. It was a very interesting watch. I've seen the context/color thing before. It is very striking - most folks are stunned to find that colors that look totally different in different contexts are actually the same.

But I don't know what you meant about a formula to convert light to sound. Sure, it's quite simple to make a machine that translates the info in the light into sound or vice-versa but I can't see why that would be significant in any fundamental way (though it can be quite beautiful).
