Never trust anything you are afraid to question ~

To know oneself is to know the universe...

    Tremendous videos!

Thanks my dear, those are great videos.

The Quantum Field is indeed a lot like the "void" of Buddhism.

The Unity of One Reality is "split" into Duality by our perceiving minds. Here is how the first video describes it:
    One Reality, Two Views
    Non-material
    Material
    Intuitive
    Rationalistic
    Spiritual
    Scientific

Conscious is light and light is the root of all energy and matter. This coheres with the verse that says "God is light." Thus "matter" is rooted in "consciousness" and we see the Unity of Reality.

So is Nirvana something or nothing?

Is there a Supreme Intelligence behind all of reality, or not?

And if there is, does He/She/It have some purpose?

And if there is some purpose to individual existence, wouldn't it have to be more than just ceasing to exist as individuals when we finally reach Nirvana.

Does any school of Buddhism have any answers to these questions?

There are different opinions on all those questions.

Any answer would be nothing but speculation, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Live life now in the present moment. Follow your bliss. You will find your way.
