Did you know the Logus was given as a curse? If you look at that verse about learning things "precept on precept"...it was a curse.
We were always meant to understand God's character and purposes through His creation.
I can teach my granddaughter about satan in 10 minutes or less, using the Wiz of Oz and the potty.![]()
Mem-ory ... Dalet Mem ... DuMbo
I think the ivory/elephant/thrown connection is great. And the mercy seat may have been filthy like a toilet if you think of the effect of all that blood splattered on it. Most folks probably don't let themselves think through the Biblical images to their logical conclusions.
Divine poop? Wow ...that might be the ultimate explanation of the entire universe!

How does that relate to the Logos which created the universe?
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Logos, and the Logos was with God, and the Logos was God.
I find unlimited beauty in the Logos.
Are you distinguishing between Logos and Rhema? I don't want to argue about that, but I think it is a profound error introduced by the Pentecostal preachers who are known to make up lotsa silly teachings.

You DID notice I was brave enough not to hyphen the big A woid?![]()
It's the old double sided coin thing...like the serpent/Son of God who must be lifted up to drag all men to Himself.
The Logos became flesh...earthy....part of God's creation...or entered matter. In Roman's it says that we traded the truth of God for a lie. (because man refused to how He was revealing Himself through His creation..or matter.) Did you look at the "precept on precept" verse?
I mean the "letter" of the word/logus, of course.
