King Ahasuerus wanted to show of his riches in Esther the 17th book as well as King Hezekiah in Isaiah 39 (17+22 ).
Both of them later faced the threat or plot of another person or power to take over their riches.
My understanding is that even though show ראה isn't a Peh (17th letter) word it does associate with Panim meaning face or to reveal.
Then Vashti's behavior made Ahasuerus lose his temper.Esther 1:4 When he shewed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honour of his excellent majesty many days, [even] an hundred and fourscore days.
Isaiah 39:2 And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
