Thanks for the link GilgalI love Tony's ability to spot chiastic structures in scripture. That is one of the primary things he is known for in finding and expounding on. I will check out the link you gave. Thanks again!

I was hoping there might be a biblewheel pattern.
I found the word bed in 2Samuel 13 which Hebrews 13 also talks about (bed undefiled).
Verse 3 mentions subtle as Genesis 3 and the 3rd epistle.
verse 15 mentions hate found in Genesis 37 and John 15.
Hey Ron,
Where should I start if I want to learn more about his work?
By the way, the Absalom story does indeed encode some real good Gospel typology. I made some findings last year about that but they'll have to wait before I find the opportunity to publish them. I'm already forgetting the details...![]()

One place you can go is here, on his website. Each link gives you several examples of the chiastic structures and themes according to the Hebrew Parashat readings. And in the miscellaneous link there is a 3 part series called dueling tsit tsit, where he describes how the scriptures are arranged in chiastic structures, and thematically.

I understand. What I meant was if you were referring to a structure in 2 Samuel 13 or somewhere else. And if you meant a verse-based structure in contrast with a chapter-based connection or something like that.
And we know, as you point out, that within alphabetic structures, not every connection is alphabetic, but also plainly thematic.
