    Hi Gary,

    Welcome to our forum!

You can search for all verses numbered x:y by entering an asterisk in the box for the book number and then x and y for the chapter and verse numbers. Click here for all verses that are indexed 3:16.

    God bless!

    Hi Gary,

To find a verse according to its ordinal position simply type the verse number into the box labeled "verse order #".

Dux allows: "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out the matter". Pr25:2 -- THE CHALLENGE

"The foolishness of God is wiser than men; the weakness of God is stronger than men". 1Cor1:25 -- THE METHOD?

And all the people went "to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them". Neh8:12 -- THE FINISH?

Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith,

'Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.'

From start to finish of the holy scriptures this is the one example and desire of God's heart which, if we do not grasp it for ourselves, we will perish.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
    21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying,
O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
O Thou who camest from above ~ John 4:7 Jesus says to her, Give me to drink... Jesus answered, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that says to you, Give me to drink; you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water... [She] says, Are you greater than our father Jacob ...? Jesus answered, Whosoever drinks of this [Jacob's well] water shall thirst again ... [but] the water that I shall give shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. ~ Psalm 141:5 ~

    Mine is:
    ASK

    Ask and you shall receive
    Seek and you shall find
Knock and the door will be opened to you.

When studying the Bible or the scriptures ask yourself what, why, when, where, who, which and how. Ask around.
Seek for the answers by finding biblical references, testimonies, alternative explanations, debates, bible group studies. Seek to enter into the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness.
Knock at every corner, dig deeper into the scriptures including researches, meditations, prayers.
And the door of knowledge and truth will be revealed to you.

My second favourite is related to the first one that I have just mentioned above:

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness
And all these things shalt be added unto to you
    Alleluia!

    What's yours?

    God Bless.
