Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD. If thieves came to thee, if robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough?

Obadiah 1:4 (Spoke 9, Cycle 2)

The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

I Samuel 2:6ff (Spoke 9, Cycle 3)

The good hidden in Tet is not always apparent. When God lifts us up, we all shout for joy - "The Lord is Good!" - but what of when He brings us low? Is this not the greatest blessing, for when we are humbled, then we will be lifted up into His Eternal Kingdom to dwell with Him forever!

Hannah's Song sung after she received the child prophet Samuel from the Lord links strongly with the theme of Obadiah. We have the KeyLink Set:

Hannah also spoke of God's Thone of Glory and the pillars of the earth. This links strongly with Isaiah 9 and the establishment of the Throne of David and God's everlasting Kingdom.
