The Third Book completes the pattern of the Trinity: God the Father is He "from whom are all things" (Genesis), God the Son is our Passover Lamb (Exodus), and God the Holy Spirit who sanctifies (Leviticus). Fire and Holiness are deeply related to the Holy Spirit, as it is written in Matthew 3:

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
