The Bible Wheel book has been available since March 16, 2006. Below are a few of the letters I have received from readers. I'll post more as they arrive. If you have read the book, I would be very interested to know what you think. If you would like to write a full-blown review, that would be great too. Here are snippets from a few of the letters, with links to the full text below:

It's a work of art .... Bob (A Chaplain in New Jersey)

Next to the Bible itself, it is my most valued and cherished book. ... Sandra

A few minutes ago the postal letter carrier brought a package to my door that unquestionably will become one of the most important works regarding hermeneutics and Bible study in general. ... I pray that many will recognize its significance and be blessed by its Divine Revelation. ... Pastor Robert (Berean Bible Fellowship, PA)

Your book is awesome. I am completely convinced that the scriptures are the living word of God. I can see it clearly now. ... I feel that the "veil" has been lifted, and I am looking into the eyes of God. ... Sheila

Oh, boy, there are so many things I could say about the book. The extra effort you made was really worth it. What I mean is that the care you took about the details and the concern to link the evidence with the central Fact - Christ crucified - will make it easier for those taking their first peek to appreciate the genuineness of the BW's proclamation. Oh Lord, thank you! ... Victor (Brazil)

I told her 'the BOOK arrived' and you would have thought she won the lottery – she was so excited. ... Katie (Alaska)

From Sheila (May 26, 2006):

Dear Mr. McGough,

I hope that it is o.k. for me to write you. I just wanted to let you know that I think that your book is awesome. I am completely convinced that the scriptures are the living word of God. I can see it clearly now. I questioned many things, and have always hoped that the bible was the holy word of God, but looking at it always in a skeptical way.

I feel that the "veil" has been lifted, and I am looking into the eyes of God. There are some things in your book that I can grasp easily and understand, and then there are those things that are over my head. I truly feel that I am supposed to understand the Hebrew language, and your book is a very good insight.

... I have been praying to God to "show me what he wants me to know", and I have also been praying for wisdom and knowledge and truth, I also wanted to know how to get a "grasp" on all of the books in the scriptures. Your book is the best book that I have read, and I can really get a good grasp on what books contain what information!! I truly believe that God is working through you on this book. And, believe me...I do not say that "God is working through you" to too many people!!!!!!!

... I truly am thankful to the Lord for your book. I will be able to remember so many things....and I could go on and on with this letter, because in my mind there is much more that I would like to say about God's wonderful wheel! (It brings to my mind Ezekials "wheel within a wheel" and MANY more things in nature and such...)

Any ways YHVH be with you!

Yours truly,

Sheila

From Bob B. (May 16, 2006):

Hi Richard,

I received your book yesterday and I was taken aback by how big and beautiful it is. It's a work of art. It instantly reminded me of a text book. My wife said I'm not allowed to mark it up. I told her I didn't buy it to put into a frame.

I went immediately to the last spoke (like a good Hebrew I guess) and loved the revelations on "reveal" and the "wheel" in Hebrew which also is the basis of golgotha. Amazing. I really love and appreciate how you incorporated how these revelations affected you spiritually. Your praises for Him and His Word are your seal on the truth you are presenting. Thank you for putting it into the text. It is the Spirit saying thru you all the promises of God find their yes and Amen in Him. When we see Him in His Word, the Spirit forces us to say Amen or Praise the Lord, which is as you say at the end imprinted on the Menorah, PRAISE the LORD. When we utter the Amen... Praise the LORD, it is the Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we have touched the Living Word of the Living God. Amen, Praise the LORD! That is our seal to His seal I guess.

I am a former SDA. I was saved by Jesus through an Adventist upon returning from Nam in the early 70's. I was called into the ministry and studied in the SDA seminary. I had a professor who taught us the typology of God's Word so it was easy for me to pick up on your parallels and types etc.

As I was reading last night I was thinking about who would read this book and run with it. I immediately thought of our Messianic Jewish brethren and Pastors. What a witness they would have to show their Hebrew friends a big reason why they believe in the New Testament. Your book could help break down the wall the Jews have built up against Jesus and Christians by showing how the New Testament is connected to the Torah.

I don't believe the pre-trib notion that God has two plans, one for the gentile and one for the Jew. I believe that ended when the Messiah came (Eph. 2:14). The true Jews followed Jesus and were called Christians. It is this remnant of Jewish believers that God selected and continued on as the true Israel, the elect of God. No replacement, just a continuation as we see when God selected Isaac over Ishmael, Jacob over Esau, and David over Saul to "continue" His purposes (Phil. 3:3). Gentiles were afterwards grafted in and as Paul states, formerly unbelieving Jews can be also grafted in since God has not totally rejected them.

I believe we are witnessing the greatest grafting in of Jews in the history of the church. Your book can help them...I believe. I'm sure the Spirit has already revealed this to you.

I am willing to make a donation to send your book to certain Messianic Pastors and Scholars in certain seminaries. Do you have anyone in mind? I can think of a few. I am willing to purchase 25 books to send out to these men as GOD leads. Can you provide me a price? I will look on the internet for ideas and names. Let's see who the Spirit leads us to to send your book.

In the Love of THE WORD,

Bob B.

From Victor P. (May 14, 2006):

Hi Richard!

I could comment forever about it. One thing I can say: I know that you like independent confirmation of research. You'll like to know that the bulk of the book was not new to me. I had found many of the links you published. Not everything of course! I hadn't figured, for example, those links you wrote about Jonah and 2 John. Also, the sin of self-justification was really amazing, and Steadman's comments about 1 Samuel and Obadiah were just incredible!

Rejoice! You're not the only one seeing the links! No doubt in the years to come many Christians all over the world will start finding out all sorts of connections and patterns that reveal the beauty of God's message! It will be a breathtaking experience!!

One of the "problems" of the BW is just the extraordinary amount of evidence about it. Sometimes we just don't see the obvious. I just knew that the four Gospels/Beasts were linked to the overall structure, but I hadn't thought of PAIRS of canon divisions as the defining structural component that linked the Seven Divisions to the Four Living Creatures. That was mind blowing. Thank you. And there's a lot more to it.

BTW, I don't know how you missed the Shamar link about the bones! I just never commented it with you because I thought you were kind of "saving the best". (How many more "obvious" things we're not talking about? :-) That link, along with other Alphabetic Links (as Psa 32:2 with Jer and 1Co and Psa 111.10 with Pro) were some of the very first links I found out. The John link was right there, staring at my face! (Note: the soldier did not break Jesus' LEGS. The usual understanding is that the tibia, that supports the body's weight, was the bone that was broken in crucifixions, as found out by archeologists. Conclusion: the SHIN BONES of the Lord were preserved!)

May God bless you and those in your household!

From your brother and collaborator,

Victor

Victor is a good friend. We first met when he wrote after finding this website a couple years ago. He immediately understood the implications of the Wheel and offered many profound insights that I had not yet noticed. It was he who originally alerted me to the Spoke 19 connection between the Psalms and Mark's unique record of Christ's voice when He calmed the storm [see page 335 of the Bible Wheel book.] He also noticed the extremely profound Alphabetic KeyLink from the prophetic Shin verse of Psalm 34 to its unique fulfillment in the Gospel of John on Spoke 21 long before I did. The fact that he independently made these discoveries is yet another witness of the objective nature of this study.

From Katie (May 6, 2006):

Dear Richard,

The books arrived yesterday!!!!!!!!!!

As providence would have it – J was at the post office same time I was so we shared the excitement and I gave her her copy. She insisted on giving me the price of the book – and I told her it was part of my tithes – that I wasn't expecting that – and she said then to have it an offering for someone else that they get a book. So I am praying whom the Lord wants me to bless with a copy – that I will order in the future.

Upon leaving the post office I drove by C's (floated in the mud anyway) and presented him with his copy and I wish you could have seen the thoughtful happy smile on his face. With his eyes fixed on the book he walked back to his cabin.

I then stopped by J's because I knew she was down the road from me babysitting. I told her 'the BOOK arrived' and you would have thought she won the lottery – she was also excited.

I got O back to the cabin here and got him situated and was kind of waiting for him to take a nap so I could spend some uninterrupted time with the book. I like the size because it is one you really have to ‘sit down with’. As I ravenously went thru it I realized you were going to have to write another book. I could see you sitting there agonizing over things you had to 'leave out.' One thing I like on the site is when you showed the wheel out of balance if you added or subtracted books. And of course on the site you have the diagrams of 'how they count' to get the holographs. (And maybe these are in there somewhere – but I didn't see them on the quick once over.)

Then I took C's over to her. She was like C – and genuinely on cloud 9 when receiving it – knowing some parts that we have covered in our 'Hebrew thought' classes.

And I left one in the door of Troy Abel's home – pastor of Faith Chapel – and a teacher at the Tok school. I emailed his wife and told her It would be of interest since he liked the prayer lists I used to do. Haven't heard back yet from them.

And today one of my good friends said, 'C really likes the book you gave him and asked me how I liked mine. I had to tell him I didn't get one!! What book is this?" I told her it was one that went along with the Hebrew classes – but I smiled and said I'd make an exception in HER case – and went to my truck – and gave her one. Now she and her husband will fight over who gets to read it first.

Katie

From Pastor Robert of a Berean Bible Fellowship (March 25, 2006):

Dear Brother in Christ,

A few minutes ago the postal letter carrier brought a package to my door that unquestionably will become one of the most important works regarding hermeneutics and Bible study in general.

Let me be one of the first to commend you for your work, on this most important study. Forty-two years a student of the Word of God; four earned degrees; and now I am about to begin a new facet of discovering God's Word for today.

My first thought when I began to scan through the book was that your wrok is added confirmation of the Midrash understanding of the Bible, in which prophecy is more than prediction, rather prophecy is pattern that is recapitulated from Genesis to Revelation. The Hebrew Midrash hermeneutic teaches the idea of an embedded design that repeats itself through allegory and typology. For thos critics of the Hebrew Midrash understanding, those that hold to the idea of a single fulfillment, or a singl understanding, will find it near impossible ot reject the Hebrew Midrash.

While others have contributed much to show the integral design is not of human origin, "The Bible Wheel" seals the issue. I want to thank you for all the work you have put into "The Bible Wheel." I can only begin to imagine the hours you have invested in its culmination. I pray that many will recognize its significance and be blessed by its Divine Revelation.

God bless,

Pastor Robert

I find Pastor Roberts' letter most gratifying, given his obvious love of God's Word, his educated background, and the character of the Berean Fellowship he pastors, which is modeled on Acts 17:11 "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." Also, his insight concerning prophecy more as reiterative patterns than mere prediction of individual future events is extremely significant. I hope to write an article on this soon. In the meanwhile, Chuck Missler of Koinonia House This link takes you off the Bible Wheel site and opens a new window has provided an article explaining Midrash Hermeneutics This link takes you off the Bible Wheel site and opens a new window.

From Sandra D. (March 24, 2006):

Richard,

Received my copies of your book a couple days ago. It is beautifully constructed. Next to the Bible itself, it is my most valued and cherished book. ... I pray for your continued enligtenment regarding insights into the wonderful Canon. God bless you and your family.

In Christ,

Sandra D.

I received this response after sending Valerie an email to let her know the book was done, not knowing that she already purchased a few copies.

Re: Bible Wheel book is done! (April 25, 2006):

Hi Richard,

Yes, I knew the book was done. I saw it on the site and my friend and I ordered three. I LOVE it!!! I gave one to my pastor and kept one for myself. I use it almost every day. Thank-you so much for your dedication in getting it done.

Blessings!!

Valerie

Here is the answer I wrote to Valerie:

Re: Bible Wheel book is done! (April 25, 2006):

Hi Valerie!

Thanks for the wonderful news. It really warms my heart and encourages me. I checked my sales list before sending you the notice and your name didn't show up, so I am guessing your friend bought the books. Is that correct?

Anyway, I am thrilled to know you are being blessed by what God has given us. Please don't hesitate to write with any questions or comments, of if there is anything I can do to help proclaim the glory of God's Word.

In Christ our Lord,

Richard

And here is the response I got. What a joy to see such enthusiasm for the Word of God!

Re: Bible Wheel book is done! (April 25, 2006):

Hi Richard,

It's me again, Valerie. Yeah, my friend E. W. ordered the books. I've been using your site for a few years now and I love it. I think one of my favourite parts is how you always use really cool ways of giving glory to God and continually come up with something new to say good things about God. It really gets the reader excited about God and shows your enthusiasm and love for God. But how could we not when we see the amazing things in God's Word!!

I was looking up some info about a wheel within a wheel in 2003 (or 04 I can't remember) and your site came up. Wow! Awesome revelation!! Ever since than I continually use it to help with so many things I love to do. My friends at church sometimes call me a scribe because I take notes of the sermons and prophetic words given at church and our times we get together for prayer. It is so awesome to see! It's like wow! do you remember when God said this and this... The timing of all the things flowing together.... and this word and that word and the cross referencing of it all!!!

Have a great day !!!!

Valerie
