Act 16:3 Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek.17355
Act 16:4 And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.16035
Act 16:5 And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.6828

Act 16:14 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.15521
Act 16:15 And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.11585
Act 16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:14982

Act 16:22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.9301
Act 16:23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:10820
Act 16:24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.13175
Act 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.9915
Act 16:26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.13628
Act 16:27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.14563
Act 16:28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.8339
Act 16:29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,8782

Act 16:36 And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace.12706
Act 16:37 But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.17902
Act 16:38 And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.8799

  • Strong's Defintions: Every Strong's Number is a hyperlink that will pop up a window to display the full definition from Strong's Concordance. You don't need to close the pop-up windows. The code will close them for you when you click on anything else.
  • Search By Strong's Numbers: Clicking the search icon ( ) beside any Strong's Number will return all verses that contain that number. You can also search for any Strong's Number by entering it in the 'Search By Strong's Number' box at the bottom data display. Enter only the number with no leading zeros, choose the language, and click 'Go.'
  • Search By Verse Order Number: This search will return a verse according to its ordinal position in the Bible. Thus, searching for verse 1 will display Genesis 1:1 on the 'Verse Analysis' page. Searching for Verse Number 31102 will return Revelation 22:21.
  • Search By Gematria: The gematria (numerical value) of each word in the Hebrew and Greek texts of the Bible has been stored in the database. These values are displayed in the 'Value' column in both the Original Text and Strong's Numbers tables. Clicking on these numbers will return the following:
    • All the words in the Bible that sum to specified Gematria value, with a hyperlink to to the corresponding Strong's Number and a link to the first verse in which the exact form of that word is found.
    • All the verses in the Bible that sum to the specified Gematria value, with a hyperlink that will display the verse in the 'Verse Analysis' page.
    • A link to the corresponding article (if one exists) in the Gematria Reference that has been published on this site since 2001.
    • The prime factorization of the specified number.
    • A 'Comments' section that I will fill up as I find time.
  • The Inc(lude)Checkboxes: These boxes allow you to include or exclude a word from the 'Total' sum displayed at the top of the 'Original Text' table. The checkbox beside the total at the top toggles all the buttons on and off, so you don't have to select them individually. The Total is a hyperlink that will exectute the 'Search By Gematria' function.
  • Qere/Kethiv Radio Buttons: These buttons toggle between the Qere and Kethiv textual variations found in the Hebrew text. They only appear when needed.
